The rate for this enrolment is only available on weekdays between 12:00pm and 3:00pm for piano and violin, and is subject to availability of places. Payments are charged monthly.

What happens in months where the number of lessons varies

The month-to-month enrolment rate entitles you to a minimum of four lesson per month. In any month in which there are less than four scheduled lessons, you will receive credit for the number of lessons not scheduled at 25% of the monthly fee per lesson. For example, if there are three scheduled lessons, your next payment will be 25% less. The most common reasons for adjustments are public holidays and Christmas/New Year shutdown. In any month where there are five scheduled lessons, you will not be charged an additional fee.

 

What happens if you miss a lesson

When at least three-hours’ notice is given prior to the lesson start time, a lesson may be rescheduled. A lesson can only be rescheduled once. If you cannot attend the reschedule lesson, the lesson is forfeited.

 

If the Academy is unable to provide a scheduled lesson, the lesson will be rescheduled. If a lesson cancelled by the Academy cannot be rescheduled, you will receive credit for the lesson not rescheduled at 25% of the monthly fee. For example, if there are four scheduled lessons, your next payment will be 25% less.

How to terminate enrolment

You are required to give two-weeks' notice before the first day of the month (which is not necessarily your first lesson of the month) from which you wish to cease enrolment. You are required to complete the cancellation form in the student portal on the website. If you do not submit the cancellation form with the required notice, you will be charged for the subsequent month.

 

You cannot cancel enrolment during the course of a month, i.e. you are charged for the whole month irrespective of notice given.
